Banff Rocky Mountain Resort has been delighting guests since 1984, building a reputation for elegance, style and modern day comforts.

We are working hard to maintain that reputation, and have been undertaking extensive renovations to our suites since 2005.

In order to ensure that our guests do not experience any inconvenience, we are undertaking the renovations over five years, mainly during off-season periods, and keeping all renovation activities to localized areas.

Please be assured that all public areas are being kept free of the disruption, mess and noise usually associated with a renovation. So, while you will probably remain unaware of the work going on around you, you will still be able to enjoy the changes being made.

Our Renovations So Far

Many of our rooms are already renovated, and others are becoming available on a on-going basis (65 remaining). The up-grades that our guests are already enjoying, include:

Standard Suites - New wallpaper, carpet, light fixtures, beds, sofas, curtains and bedspreads. New, larger desks, with a lamp. The wet-bar area is replaced with a wall-unit, which contains a fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom has a new tub, tile surround, vanity and mirror, faucets and toilet.
